Bruce Schimmel earns President’s Achievement Award

The Board of Directors of the Metropolitan New York Coatings Association (MNYCA) awarded the President’s Achievement Award to Bruce “for his outstanding contributions and dedication to this Association.”  The Board thanked Superior Materials and Bruce for “overwhelming support and dedication to the MNYCA.”  The Board noted, “During a time when we were in a global pandemic, Bruce willingly stepped up to service 2-term consecutive years as president of the MNYCA, all while taking on his new responsibilities of being the President for the Eastern Coatings Federation.”

Houston, TX – Active Minerals International announces a distribution partnership with Superior Materials, Inc. set to commence on August 1st, 2023. Through this collaboration, Superior Materials will represent Active Minerals’ quality Acti-Gel® and Min-U-Gel® attapulgite products for Adhesives, Coatings, Construction, Sealants, and Elastomers in a territory spanning the states East of the Mississippi River, excluding Florida.

The distribution agreement comes at a momentous time for Active Minerals International, as they are concurrently bringing on-line an additional attapulgite production line. This increased production capacity reinforces their commitment to meeting growing market demands while maintaining a high standard for product quality.

Active Minerals International is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of high-quality attapulgite and air-floated kaolin clay products at multiple operations in the Southeastern United States.
